Britannia in the North Sea sits about 210 km northeast of Aberdeen. The complex consists of a drilling, production and accommodation platform, a long-term compression module of mono-column design and a 90-metre bridge connected to a production and utilities platform.
Harbour Energy has budgeted higher capex this year (about $1.2 billion) for its worldwide offshore E&P and other projects. Of this, $200 million applies to decommissioning.
