Energos FSRU to operate offshore Egypt

New Fortress Energy has executed a 10-year charter agreement with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS) for the Energos Eskimo floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU).

New Fortress Energy has executed a 10-year charter agreement with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS) for the Energos Eskimo floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU).

The 160,000-cu-m vessel will be deployed at EGAS’ LNG import terminal in Ain Sokhna, Egypt, and should start operations next summer.
