Constellation Oil Services, Brazil's largest offshore drilling contractor, has expanded its fleet and upgraded rigs to support Petrobras' offshore growth, focusing on complex deepwater projects and frontier exploration in the Equatorial Margin, CEO Rodrigo Ribeiro told Offshore.

The Deepwater Operations and Topsides, Platforms & Hulls conferences, taking place Nov. 3-5, are co-located to bring all relevant business professionals and regulators together to explore improvements in the offshore oil and gas development phases from concept selection to project execution, production operations, and platform decommissioning.

Northern Gulf Petroleum commissioned the production/exploration campaign.

The C44 well, drilled from the West Azeri platform, is said to be the first multilateral drilled in the Caspian Sea.

The initial focus would be on infill wells to boost production from untapped reserves on the Bruce Field.
