COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Petrogas has contracted Maersk Drilling to drill an appraisal well on the Birgitta field in the central UK North Sea.
Maersk will deploy a harsh environment jackup for the $7.6-million contract. It expects to start the 70-day program next March.
The contract carries an option for a 20-day extension.
