STEINHAUSEN, Switzerland – Transocean Ltd. has received contracts for two of its harsh environment semisubmersibles offshore Norway.
An undisclosed company has awarded the Transocean Barents a two-well contract that is expected to start February 2022. The contract award is about 200 days in duration and adds an estimated $60 million in firm contract backlog.
An unnamed company has awarded the Transocean Norge a four-well contract that is expected to start in March 2022. The contract award is about 200 days in duration and adds an estimated $56 million in firm contract backlog. The contract includes five one-well options.
