Kongsberg Maritime to equip Cadeler's new T-Class offshore wind installation vessels

Kongsberg Maritime will provide dynamic positioning, propulsion, automation and energy management systems for two new Cadeler WTIVs being built in China, with delivery scheduled for 2030 and 2031.

Why this news matters:

  • The vessels are being designed to install larger next-generation offshore wind turbines and foundations, highlighting how the industry's installation fleet is evolving to support larger projects and deeper-water developments.

  • Demand for advanced DP, propulsion and energy management systems continues to grow as vessel owners seek greater installation efficiency, operational reliability and reduced emissions.
