Prosafe offloads accommodation vessel for recycling

Prosafe has agreed to sell the 1984-built, anchor-moored semisubmersible tender support and accommodation vessel Safe Scandinavia for recycling.

At present, the vessel is in Norway; it has been in cold lay-up for more than six years.

One condition for the recycling is full compliance with all relevant conventions and regulations.

Prosafe expects to deliver the vessel to the buyer by mid-2025.
