DUBAI, UAE– Belayim Petroleum Co. (Petrobel) has awarded Shelf Drilling’s jackup Trident 16 a one-year contract for operations in the Gulf of Suez, offshore Egypt.
The contract includes mutually agreeable options, and the planned start-up of operations is 1Q 2019.
Petrobel is a joint venture of Eni S.p.A. and Egyptian General Petroleum Corp.
