Seatrium updates progress on North Sea, US offshore wind structures

    Seatrium provides equipment, commissioning, vessel conversion and offshore wind project updates in its latest quarterly report.

    LNG carrier Höegh Gandria sails offshore
    Earlier this month, Seatrium announced a new contract award from Höegh Evi for the conversion of the LNG carrier Höegh Gandria into an FSRU.

    Seatrium has won a contract to supply equipment and a license for a LeTourneau Super 116E Class jackup rig, the company revealed in a trading update.

    For the offshore wind sector, Seatrium recently completed the strike steel for IJmuiden Ver Gamma, the second of three 2-GW offshore converter platforms ordered by Dutch transmission operator TenneT.

    Offshore commissioning works are progressing on the substations for the US east coast Revolution Wind development, with one unit expected to be completed by June.

    Another recent award was an FSRU conversion from Höegh Evi.

    Earlier this week, Seatrium also reported that it delivered the FPSO BW Opal to BW Offshore.
