GTT designing tanks for Mitsui FSRU

HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has commissioned GTT to design the tanks for the new FSRU on behalf of Japanese shipowner Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.

PARIS, France — HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has commissioned GTT to design the tanks for the new FSRU on behalf of Japanese shipowner Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.

The tanks, with a total capacity of 170,000 cu. m, will be equipped with the GTT-developed Mark III membrane containment system.

The completed vessel is due to be delivered in third-quarter 2027.
