HOUSTON — Expro has completed plugging and abandonment (P&A) of gas wells offshore southern Ireland.
The company provided integrated subsea and well test services over an eight-month period to intervene in and P&A the subsea wells from a mobile offshore drilling unit in the Celtic Sea.
The subsea intervention scope employed the company’s 7 3/8-inch ELSA (Expro landing string assemblies) system, supported by a backup system and hydraulic topside and subsea controls equipment.
