Offshore staff
LONDON – McDermott International Inc. has relocated its Subsea Center of Excellence from Epsom in Surrey to Bedfont Lakes office park near Feltham in London.
The move follows the recent award of the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim natural gas project offshore Mauritania and Senegal. BP awarded McDermott and BHGE subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines and subsea production system equipment contracts.
The subsea engineering team as well as other support office areas from McDermott will be in the new office.
The company is leasing about 4,180 sq m (45,000 sq ft) of office space. There are currently 260 employees relocating with the potential to grow to about 350.
