STAVANGER, Norway – Two Prosafe semisubmersible accommodation rigs are supporting projects in the Shetlands area, the company revealed in its latest update.

Equinor has activated an extension option that will keep the Safe Boreas alongside the Mariner platform through September. The operator has three remaining one-month options.

The Safe Zephyrus started a contract for BP in mid-May supporting the Clair Ridge platform. The five-month program could be extended by a further month.

However, the Safe Scandinavia and Regalia, which were both working in the North Sea earlier this year, are currently laid up in Norway, as is the Safe Bristolia.

Off Brazil, the Safe Concordia will provide gangway-connected operations to Equinor’s Peregrino FPSO from mid-January 2020 onwards in support of maintenance and safety services.

The Safe Notos remains on duty for Petrobras under a long-term contract, while the Safe Eurus will begin providing safety and maintenance support for Petrobras during 4Q.
