Inch Cape Offshore has contracted Seaway7 to transport and install pin-pile jacket foundations and transition pieces for the Inch Cape wind farm, 15 km from the coast of Angus, eastern Scotland.
The 1.1-GW development, managed jointly by ESN and Red Rock Renewables, will feature 72 wind turbine generators.
Seaway7’s work scope covers 18 pin-pile jacket foundations and 54 transition pieces, with offshore activity set to start in 2026.
Seaway7, part of Subsea7, reported the contract value at between $150 million and $300 million.
Earlier this week, Inch Cape Offshore also asked Vestas to supply, install and commission 72 V236-15.0 MW wind turbines for the Inch Cape wind development in the central UK North Sea.
