AF Gruppen to dismantle 10 North Sea platforms

OSLO, Norway — TotalEnergies EP Nederland has contracted AF Gruppen to remove and recycle 10 platforms in the Dutch North Sea.

The scope includes engineering, preparatory works, removal, transportation, recycling and disposal of the platforms, with a combined weight of 17,000 metric tons.

All will be transported to the AF Environmental Base Vats in Norway for recycling, with the program due to be completed by year-end 2025.
