Aker to dismantle three Equinor North Sea platforms

FORNEBU, Norway – Aker Solutions has signed a decommissioning contract with Heerema Marine Contractors for three offshore installations in the Norwegian North Sea.

The company will receive, dismantle, and recycle the facilities that Heerema will remove from the Heimdal and Veslefrikk fields, operated by Equinor, with a target to recycle around 98% of the steel and materials.
