North Sea Yme operations suspended due to piping damage

TRONDHEIM, Norway – Repsol Norge has shut down production from the Yme field in the eastern Norwegian North Sea following damage to parts of the process pipe system.

The company has informed partner OKEA that resolving these issues and the associated repairs will likely lead to five to six weeks’ downtime, with production likely re-starting in early October.
