Infill drilling boosts production at offshore North Sabah PSC

KUALA LUMPUR, MalaysiaHibiscus Petroleum subsidiary SEA Hibiscus has completed an infill drilling campaign on the 2011 North Sabah enhanced oil recovery PSC offshore Malaysia.

This involved drilling and completion of four infill oil producers on the St Joseph jacket-F platform, designed to add 2,200 b/d of crude oil production.

Daily capacity in the North Sabah PSC is now above 20,000 b/d, 6,000 b/d more than when SEA Hibiscus assumed operatorship in 2018, as a 50-50 JV partner to Petronas.

The concession contains the St Joseph South Furious, SF30, and Barton fields with all oil exported to the Labuan crude oil terminal.
