Talisman has first oil production from South Angsi field in Malaysia

Talisman Malaysia Ltd. has first oil production from its South Angsi field in Block PM-305 offshore Malaysia.

The field is expected to produce at a rate of 12,000 b/d. At the end of 2004, Talisman had booked 29 MMbbl of reserves at South Angsi, based on Talisman working interest before royalties.

Talisman Malaysia Ltd. is the operator and holds a 60% interest in Blocks PM-305
and PM-314. The remaining 40% interest is held by Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd.
