Talisman Energy Inc. discovered a gas-field off the coast of Vietnam.

Talisman Energy has discovered a gas-field off the coast of Vietnam, which has gas reserves of 70-100 billion cu m and can exploit 34 MM cu m/day.
The gas-field, named Hoa Mai-1x, is located at block 46-Cai Nuoc. It is 9 km southwest of contract area, PM-3 CAA Bunga Kekwa C, Malaysia. Hoa Mai-1x is a part of PM-3 oil exploitation project worth about $815 million.
The oil-exploitation of PM-3 Project includes the territorial waters of both Vietnam and Malaysia. Talisman has 33% of the shares of gas-field in Vietnam. Other partners of Talisman are PetroVietnam and Petronas Carilagi.
