Su Tu Trang gas field offshore Vietnam set for further development

Perenco Vietnam and its partners have signed a new 25-year production sharing contract for offshore Block 15-1 with the Vietnamese government.

Perenco Vietnam and its partners have signed a new 25-year production sharing contract for offshore Block 15-1 with the Vietnamese government.

The company now expects to approve a final investment decision for the Phase 2B development of the Su Tu Trang gas and condensate field, delivering an additional 125 MMcf/d of gas over a seven-year period.

Perenco has been operating in Vietnam since 2012. The company says Block 15-1 is the country’s second largest offshore oil and gas block in Vietnam.

The company also has an interest in the offshore Nam Con Son export pipeline system.
