Sercel monitoring system to support Exxon Mobil operations offshore Guyana

MASSY, France — Exxon Mobil has ordered a Marlin vessel monitoring and alert system from Viridien’s Sensing & Monitoring business line (Sercel) to support offshore operations in Guyana.

The system is designed to protect FPSOs and other offshore facilities against a range of marine risks.

Its real-time monitoring and intelligence capabilities are said to offer insights into vessel movements, operational parameters and potential risks, helping operators enact safety improvement measures.
