STOCKHOLM, Sweden – The final well in the Azurite field development offshore Republic of Congo is producing oil, according to partner PA Resources (PAR).

Last month, output from the field continued to be impacted by drilling and completion. In order to drill the last producer, one well had to be taken out of production in April and May and sidetracked to a new location.

PAR has a 35% interest in the production sharing contract for the Azurite Field, which is operated by Murphy Oil.
