LYNGBY, Denmark – The Aker BP alliance has extended Maersk Drilling’s contract for the low-emission jackup Maersk Integrator.

In direct continuation of the rig’s current campaign, it will shift to the Ivar Aasen field in the central North Sea to drill two wells, with the program due to start in October 2020.

The estimated 93-day extension is valued at roughly $25.5 million, with a potential performance bonus. The contract may be extended for a further well.
