ABERDEEN, UK – Dolphin Drilling has received a two-month contract extension from i3 Energy for use of the semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin, and the two companies have entered into a four-year strategic operations agreement.
The four-year strategic alliance will enable the company to meet its future rig demands, according to the drilling contractor.
Following completion of the latest work for i3, the Borgland Dolphin will head to the Knarr field on the Norwegian continental shelf to to drill a gas production well for AS Norske Shell.
