OSLO, Norway – Capricorn Norge, a subsidiary of Cairn Energy, has approval from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority to drill the Lynghaug prospect in the Norwegian Sea.
The semisubmersible Transocean Arctic will drill well 6508/1-3 in production license 758, in 392 m (1,286 ft) water depth.
