Capricorn books rig for North Sea Duncan well

Capricorn Norge AS has contracted Island Drilling’s semisubmersible Island Innovator to drill one well on the Duncan prospect in block 35/8 in the North Sea.

SANDSLI, Norway – Cairn Energy subsidiary Capricorn Norge AS has contracted Island Drilling’s semisubmersible Island Innovator to drill one well on the Duncan prospect in block 35/8 in the North Sea.

Drilling is scheduled to start in H1 2020. The contract includes two optional wells. 

Capricorn Norge AS is the operator of license 880, with a 60% interest.
