KBR supporting Aramco’s offshore Marjan field upgrades project
Saudi Aramco has contracted KBR to support a program of upgrades to equipment and infrastructure serving the Marjan field offshore Saudi Arabia.
KBR will perform engineering and project execution services related to offshore processing, gas compression, and power infrastructure facilities.
Aramco expects the program to maintain Marjan's production capacity through recent field developments.
It should also help advance associated gas processing and improve the long-term performance of the offshore assets through integration of digital technologies, automation, and power system enhancements.
KBR plans to manage most of the engineering from its offices in Houston and Al-Khobar.
