Dron & Dickson (D&D) has acquired Abu Dhabi-based electrical and instrumentation contractor Totus Energy.

ABU DHABI, UAE -- Dron & Dickson (D&D) has acquired Abu Dhabi-based electrical and instrumentation contractor Totus Energy. Totus, formed in 2009, provides services to the oil and gas, marine and industrial sectors.
This follows D&D’s expansion of its hazardous area electrical equipment service for the offshore and onshore sectors into the Middle East with the opening of a new base in Dubai.
D&D will invest in development of Totus Energy personnel, training the local workforce in line UK industry standards including Compex and IECEx.
