ABERDEEN, UK– AISUS Offshore has completed four J-Tube inspections on a platform in the Mediterranean Sea for an unnamed oil services group.
This involved compiling more than 750 m (2,461 ft) of inspection data using AISUS’ crawler-driven inspection system.
Offshore Norway this year, the company has conducted internal caisson inspection projects using its Aquarius system to perform corrosion mapping over the entire internal surface of the caisson.
Prior to the launch of this technology, the company claims, it was not possible to perform full-length corrosion mapping on subsea and topsides structures in the same deployment.
