Beerenberg secures offshore Norway platform maintenance job

KOKSTAD, Norway– Beerenberg has signed a frame agreement with Wintershall to deliver insulation, surface treatment and scaffolding services on the Brage production platform in the Norwegian North Sea.
The four-year frame agreement includes three options of two-year extensions and is expected to have a value of NOK20-40 million ($2.5-5 million) per year. Work will begin in 4Q 2017.
Brage is Wintershall’s first operated field in the Norwegian North Sea. It is located on blocks 30/6, 31/4, and 31/7 east of Oseberg, 125 km (77 mi) west of Bergen. Water depth is 137 m (449 ft).
