HOUSTONMcDermott’s third-quarter revenues of $473 million in the Middle East North Africa region were driven primarily by high levels of fabrication and marine activity for offshore projects.

Major contributors included theSaudi Aramco projects Safaniya Phase 5, Safaniya Phase 6, LTA II, and 13 jackets.

Work on Safaniya Phase 5 is progressing according to schedule, with all the platforms, pipelines, umbilicals and cables installed and hook-up remaining only on one platform.

Fabrication for Safaniya Phase 6 too is on target, with preparations under way for the offshore dredging.

Seven of the substructures for the Saudi Aramco 13 jackets project have been installed with the remaining six to follow soon.

Fabrication has also started on the Bul Hanine project offshore Qatar, as has work on the Belbazem field re-select front-end engineering design offshore Abu Dhabi for ADNOC, at McDermott’s Jebel Ali engineering center in the UAE.
