Offshore staff
LYSAKER, Norway – Aker BP is forming an alliance with Aker Solutions to deliver modification work on the Valhall, Ula, and Skarv fields offshore Norway.
Aker Solutions’ fabrication workshops in Egersund and Sandnessjøen will deliver work through the Modification Alliance, a Stavanger-based organization employing nearly 500 staff.
Marie Ravnestad, vice president modification projects at Aker BP, said: “We have done a lot of work to describe how to define the scope of work for each installation. It was important to establish an agreement with common incentives to secure that good results reward both parties.”
