NORTH SYDNEY, Australia – AWE says discussions have started with Indonesia’s regulator on a joint development of the G-sand and K-sand reservoirs for the offshore Ande Ande Lamut (AAL) oil field in the northwest Natuna Sea.

The partners have applied to move the G-sand resource from exploration status to development.

However, final approval may require an amendment to the approved plan of development prior to final investment decision.

Stage 2 commercial tenders remain on hold until this work has finished.
