Petrobras reserves Solstad vessel for six months’ work offshore Brazil

Petrobras has taken the Normand Pioneer construction vessel on a 180-day firm bareboat contract with Solstad Maritime for operation offshore Brazil.

Petrobras has taken the Normand Pioneer construction vessel on a 180-day firm bareboat contract with Solstad Maritime for operation offshore Brazil.

The vessel will be fitted with a heave-compensated E-type gangway system from Ampelmann for the program, which is due to start in October.

Estimated value of the contract is about $17 million, including mobilization.
