Crew transfer vessel in service at Belgian North Sea wind farm

Tidal Transit’s latest offshore wind crew transfer vessel (CTV), Anthea Luna, has started its first contract with Belgian offshore wind farm operator C-Power.
Tidal Transit’s latest offshore wind crew transfer vessel (CTV), Anthea Luna, has started its first contract with Belgian offshore wind farm operator C-Power.
Singapore-based Penguin International delivered the WindFlex 27 Quad IPS vessel in March.
Anthea Luna will provide service and maintenance support to the Thornton Bank offshore wind farm, which is the country’s first and 30 km from the coast. It comprises 54 wind turbines generating a total of 325 MW of electricity.
Features of the vessel, according to Tidal Transit, include fuel efficiency and durability. Its hull design and onboard systems area allow equipment retrofits for the vessel to run on zero-emissions power in future.
