Tidal Transit, a supplier of crew transfer vessels (CTVs) to the offshore wind industry, has expanded its fleet with the Arabella Jane.
The Windflex 27 CTV with Quad IPS has already started work under a first charter, supporting operations at Ørsted’s Hornsea 2 wind farm in the UK southern North Sea.
Now Tidal Transit has ordered two more vessels. The company selected the new 24-passenger, Incat Crowther UK-designed WindFlex-27 model to fulfill contractual needs ahead of delivery of new electric CTVs in 2026.
This vessel is equipped with quad Volvo Penta IPS30 propulsion (the same as in Tidal Transit’s eGinny 100% electric retrofit project).
