HOUSTON -- Pride International Inc. sustained no damage to its fleet of 12 jackup and three platform rigs operating in the Mexican Gulf of Mexico in the path of Hurricane Dean. All personnel were safely evacuated before the arrival of the storm, Pride says, and the company has re-boarded startup crews that expect to resume operations on all of the rigs early this week.

Pride International Inc., headquartered in Houston, operates a fleet of rigs and has two additional ultra deepwater drillships under construction with expected deliveries in 2010.
