SKUDENESHAVN, Norway — Petrobras has contracted Solstad Maritime’s Normand Fortress construction support vessel (CSV) for two years of work offshore Brazil, with the potential for a two-year extension.

The vessel will provide accommodation services to support production activities, starting in second-quarter 2024. 

In addition, Petrobras has extended the contract for the Normand Valiant CSV by six months until mid-February.

The combined value of the deals to Solstad is about NOK750 million ($71.2 million).
