HAMILTON, Bermuda — In late December, Petrobras awarded long-term contracts for two Seadrill drillships following a bidding process.

Estimated combined value of the 1,064-day fixed-term programs is about $1.1 billion, including additional services and mobilization.

West Auriga and West Polaris will transition to Seadrill from their current third-party managers before starting the campaigns with Petrobras in fourth-quarter 2024.
