    Shell UK books Stena semisub for drilling, P&A

    ABERDEEN, UK — Stena Drilling has secured a new contract with Shell UK Ltd. for the Stena Don mobile offshore drilling unit. 

    The work is due to commence in second-quarter 2023 for a firm scope of one year, with an option to extend the contract for up to an additional one-year period in direct continuation from the firm scope.

    Works will take place in the UKCS, and well activities will include a combination of plugging and abandonment work and drilling development wells.
