Stena Don booked for North Sea Serenity well

Petrofac Facilities Management will provide well engineering, operations management and operator services for the Serenity appraisal well in the U.K. North Sea.

WESTHILL, U.K. — i3 Energy has entered an arrangement under which Petrofac Facilities Management will provide well engineering, operations management and operator services this summer for the Serenity appraisal well in U.K. North Sea license P.2358 in Block 13/23c.

The contract terms give i3 access to Petrofac’s expertise and services over a three-year period.

Petrofac has an existing contract with Stena Drilling for use of the Stena Don semisubmersible, and it has secured a well slot with a start date of between Aug. 15 and Sept. 15.
