Siem sells two anchor handlers

KRISTIANSAND, Norway – Siem AHTS Pool AS has sold the anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels Siem Garnet and Siem Diamond to an independent third party.
The vessels are sold for further trading outside the offshore shipping industry.
The Siem Garnet was delivered to the undisclosed buyer today. The Siem Diamond is scheduled for delivery next week.
The company said its objective is to reduce debt. It now has eight anchor handlers.
In addition, PSE Kinsale Energy Ltd. has awarded the AHTS Siem Pearl a three-month contract to support a semisubmersible rig during a P&A campaign offshore Ireland.
