Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center AS (TP-OTC) has awarded Subsea7 a further order related to the deepwater Sakarya gas field development offshore Turkey in the Black Sea.

It represents an extension to the contract issued last August for the third phase of Sakarya and will involve connecting the recent Goktepe discovery to the Phase 3 floating production unit.

Subsea7’s additional EPIC responsibilities cover about 20 m of flexibles, 120 km of umbilicals, a rigid production riser and associated subsea equipment in water depths of up to 2,200 m.

The company will perform project management and engineering from it offices in Istanbul, and it expects to conduct offshore installations in 2027 and 2028.
