March 13, 2017
The Subsea Tieback Foundation will be supporting the 2017 Subsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition by hosting a booth and sponsoring conference attendance by college students from a number of universities.

The Subsea Tieback Foundation (STF) will be supporting the2017 Subsea Tieback (SSTB) Forum & Exhibition by hosting a booth and sponsoring conference attendance by college students from a number of universities, including:

• University of Houston

• Texas A&M – College Station

• Texas A&M – Galveston

The STF will host a student dinner during the forum with industry representatives who will share their experiences and recommendations with the students. The foundation will also organize a tour of the exhibit hall where the students will receive both an industry overview and a more in-depth look into specific parts of the industry (engineering, manufacturing, installation, operations, etc.) by visiting a number of preselected booths where industry representatives will describe their exhibits, displays, and their job roles.

The STF promotes cross-industry collaboration by continuing to support SSTB and other leading industry organizations such as SUT and MTS on various educational initiatives. The foundation has plenty of opportunities for volunteers that want to give back and help shape the future of the industry, so please come by booth #1270 to find out more about how you can get involved.

The STF mission is to “inform, educate and introduce careers in the oil and gas industry specific to offshore and subsea disciplines,” and as a non-profit it delivers on this mission through annual fundraising events and donations. If you would like to learn more about STF events or opportunities for sponsorship, come chat the booth delegates or contact the foundation via the websitehttp://subseatiebackfoundation.org/.
