Offshore staff
GREAT YARMOUTH, UK –Weatherford Colombia has contracted Conductor Installation Services Ltd.to provide conductor installation services for Equion Energia Ltd. offshore Colombia.
The work will be on Equion’s shallow water Mapale-1 and -2 wells in the RC5 block off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia. CIS will install two 30-in. driven conductors for Weatherford, the first in late spring, and the second in mid-summer. In addition to installing the conductors, CIS will provide conductor make-up and cold-cutting services, and a variety of installation tooling equipment, including hammers, conductor handling tools, and cold cutting equipment.
Support will come from the CIS base in Lafayette, Louisiana.
