ABERDEEN, UK – Apache North Sea has contracted Bibby Offshore to provide subsea construction, ROV, and diving services in the Forties area of the UK central North Sea.
Bibby will deploy its multi-role diving support vesselBibby Topaz, equipped with an inspection class ROV.
The project calls for well tie-ins and spool change-out at theAviat and Bacchus locations, along with the associated pre-commissioning works, to tieback subsea wells to the Forties oil field, 110 mi (177 km) east of Aberdeen.
