MDL, DOF Subsea complete further SURF campaign offshore Angola

ABERDEEN, UK — Maritime Developments (MDL) has supported DOF Subsea with subsea installations offshore Angola.

MDL supplied a Generation 2 reel drive system, four-track, 85-metric-ton pipelay tensioner and an overboarding chute for the campaign, with the spread mobilized onboard the Skandi Seven offshore construction vessel.

It followed previous SURF installation programs over the past 18 months featuring the same vessel/ spread combination.
