MILAN, Italy – Petrobras has awarded Prysmian Group a further contract for umbilicals for brown and greenfield projects offshore Brazil.
The latest order, valued at around €66 million ($78 million), is for 200 km (124 mi) of deepwater electro-hydraulic steel tube and thermoplastic umbilicals and associated offshore and logistic services.
It follows a recent contract for 350 km (217 mi) of umbilicals.
Prysmian will engineer, fabricate, test and deliver the newly ordered items during 2022-2025 from its subsea dynamic technologies center in Vila Velha, Brazil.
