Webtool lengthens subsea cutting tool mission capability

ACCRINGTON, UK – Webtool is offering long-term deployment RROV (Resident ROV) cutting tools capable of up to 120 days of continuous service.
The package includes customized RROV interfaces for the manipulator arm, RROV or subsea storage and hydraulic connections.
Webtool’s hydraulic cutters are used typically for cutting steel wire rope, guide wire, fiber rope, umbilical, electrical cable, hoses and tubing during installation, repair, and maintenance.
They can be deployed in all water depths: some cutters are supporting intervention projects at 4,000 m (13,123 ft) water depth, according to Allspeeds managing director Keith Eliot.
